| Attacking left-back Tony Capaldi is an exciting young talent who is currently impressing in the reserve and youth teams. An outstanding prospect, Capaldi has a wide variety of international options to showcase his undoubted ability. He was born in Norway, brought up in England and has ties with both Northern and the Republic of Ireland. He has opted to represent Northern Ireland – already capped at under 18 level – where he has impressed greatly. His appearances so far this season have yielded some promising performances, and, surprisingly for a left-back, a healthy quota of goals. He is expected to become a regular in the reserves this season and could be pushing for Martin Grainger’s spot in the first team next term. |
