| A product of Sheffield United's youth scheme. Curtis made his debut for the Blades at the age of 17, as a substitute against Crewe in November 1997. He had developed into one of the club's star players, operating in a midfield role, whilst he has also represented England under-21s in recent years. Woodhouse also holds the very enviable record of being the club's youngest ever captain, after leading the side out in the FA Cup tie against Rushden & Diamonds, aged just 19. He comes to Blues believing that the Premiership can be reached sooner rather than later. |
